In my previous life, I was once a "For Sale By Owner" and learned firsthand the complexities of selling a home - I ultimately hired an agent because I discovered there is a lot of behind-the-scenes details, deadlines, and legalities. The experience taught me 'you don't know what you don't know' and also that my skill set aligned; this inspired me to become a Realtor.

And as a homeowner, I'm experienced in all things contractors, countertops, carpet, and cost analysis - I recently completed a full-house remodel, due to naughty children in an upstairs bathroom. (If you're looking for a painfully entertaining story, ask me about that one!)
